One of my favorite instruments is the Native American Flute. It is relatively new as an instrument that I play, since I only started playing about 13 years ago. My wonderful and lovely wife Cheryle and I took a pre-honeymoon to Banff in 2004. On one of the afternoons we were on the Main Street doing touristy things and stopped in this trading post. At the back of the store, they had a display of Native American Flutes and a way to play them. I was captivated and when we returned home, I ordered my first flute. It is a cedar flute tuned in “A” pentatonic minor called a Sparrow Hawk.
