Dublin Sabbatical

It isn’t everyday that you can take time away to see the world.  I took a small sabbatical to Dublin Ireland, and it was beautiful and a learning experience.
This is one of the remaining chapels it is still standing. Most of the chapels were destroyed by Cromwell
This is a picture from Glendalough in Ireland. This is the upper Lake. There are two lakes on the property within 30 seconds of taking this picture, foggy and cold air about 15° difference came right down till you couldn’t see this valley at all. What a beautiful day.

This is a picture of a destroyed cathedral the walls will probably stand for many thousand more years.
This is called the round tower. It’s 100 feet tall. It is slightly distorted because this was taken with the panoramic shot it’s really not all twisty like that. But it was the only way to get the whole thing in the picture.
