Inner Connection
Once the fingering and fingering possibilities are mastered, freedom of expression
is absolute. Simply opening to the sound of the Native American Flute allows the
opportunity for the Inner Connection of mind, body, and spirit.
Breath Control
Developing skill and control of breath with this instrument opens the student: to
different sound possibilities; opens the mind to new possibilities through the
various brain synchronies available through Breath Control.
Improvisation
The Native American Flute is a true improvisational instrument. Lean back and
envision the canyons of the Southwest or the canyons of Manhattan as you allow
your breath to aurally paint a landscape of that vision. Michael teaches his
students to open to their beautiful nature and power and to infuse that
self-beauty into their sound.
